Sun Moon Lake is a must. I haven’t been there since I was a teenager. Isn’t the subway nice? Far cry from BART. How is it getting around with just English?
We haven’t had any problem with getting around. Transportation is super easy in Taipei – everything well marked in English in the subway. The regional bus and getting to particular places, requires a little more help. I try and carry name of the hotel or place we are going to in Chinese on a piece of paper to show people.
